The world we run through needs to be preserved for the next generation. This is only possible if sustainability is embedded in all that we do. Our events strive to have as positive impact on the natural world as they do on the people who take part in them.
We have made major strides in the last decade, but there is more to come and we constantly review best practice and look for new ways we can reduce the footprint of our footprints in line with our Sustainability Framework.
Climate change isn’t something you solve alone so if you have suggestions on how we can improve please get in touch.
Investing in renewable energy: We balance the emissions of our live event crew travel by investing in renewable energy projects and provide a platform for our participants to do the same.
Meat free Menus: We have moved all the food provided within entry fees to being meat free. This saves us an estimated 65 tonnes of carbon a year.
Single use plastics: By removing plastic cups, bottles, plates and cutlery, we've removed the need for more than 100,000 single use plastic items annually
Recycling: Our live event recycling set up allows us to improve waste separation and reduce landfill. We also donate unused food and equipment to food banks and charities.
Centralised resources: We provide centralised power, water and haulage solutions to our events and suppliers
Part of ecolibrium: Ecolibrium is a live events industry response to the climate crisis – a community of events, festivals, suppliers, artists and music companies taking action to reduce travel impacts and invest in climate solutions.
